although armor might give an added boost pshycologicly i wouldn't do much if a zombie tries to bite you; chances are all it would do would exaust you faster. My recomendation would be to wear something tight, comfortable, and light. Its about survival and not about looking badass in "armor."

In the Dawn of the Dead remake. They were in a mall, how come when they went on the "rescue mission" to the gun shop via the sewers they didn't shop around and get some kinda "armor" to wear?
