Wow what a great book. Edge of my seat @ all times. The detail, suspense, and the realistic characters making realistic decisions. Zombie fan or not the survival tactics are right on the money! I learned so much by reading this book, I didn't see this as a story but as a lesson in real life situation. Zombies, earthquake, military invasion, civil war, or any other natural disaster that could happen and most likely will happen is covered in "A Veil of Darkness" 2 thumbs up...

Loved the story and the characters. The author seemed to have detailed knowledge on survival tactics and how they could be applied in a world without order, making the story not only enjoyable, but educational. Hoping to read more about Mike Moore, his scary ass adventure and how civilization recovers...or doesn't!

The character Michael Moore (lol) seems to be quite complex, making this a great story of more than zombies...the psychology of what happens to people in life/death situations. I see lots of possibilities for more.... ?
