A zombie is supposed to die during an apocalypse or outbreak - swarming over the last remnants of humanity.

It is a dignified end for a zombie to be despatched by a desperate survivor with a shotgun, chainsaw or machete - a zombie free range death.

Sadly, many zombies face a much more pedestrian and cruel fate. The campaign for free range zombie deaths seeks to raise awareness of the problem of non free range zombie deaths, particularly in the wake of Halloween.
