Common Sense Thinking

I would like to start this off by saying that in the event of a zombie outbreak, it would behoove you NOT to go to any military installation....I am military and would get away from here as fast as I could, not before first supplying myself with the neccessary essentials though....I say this because honestly (just my thinking), its gonna be just as hectic on a military installation as anywhere else....Yes, we're trained to protected the country but a zombie outbreak is something NO ONE is prepared for when the shit hits the fan...NOW, one most also realize that your everyday way of thinking has now changed and the impossible is now possible......SO, get it out of your head that you would try to save every fine lady in your neighborhood, that you would try to reach your loved ones ( if you have comms with them and they are close then yes of course work out a plan), etc...

It would literally be every man for himself.....

Now, this is jusy MY plan....Gather whatever food, protection, and medical supplies I already have in home...
Explain to my household that they must start to think about just us and that we can not think about trying to get to grandma& grandpas because more than likely they have been overrun, and we are all we have left...
Get my family into the vehicle... Go and break into armsroom and get what weapons are there ( this would be sensable since I live on post... Make my way to where I know medical supplies are and get what I can...Try to make our way to a car dealership...Break in and get keys to brand new vehicle....(preferably something that can carry your family and supplies)...Head for a surplus or sporting goods store that also has weapons, load up on crossbows/ B&A/ guns and ammo as well as survival gear...
Now, no one can exactly plan for an outbreak as far as where they're gonna go because it's unexpected so, I would definitely get us as far from very populated placesas I could......Going and trying to find a boat and finding some small uninhabited island would seem nice and safe....Of course you would have to clear that island of whatever dead was there.....

Yes, I probably left out some good points but like I said this would be an unexpected event and no one would really be 100% prepared for something of this magnetude...
