DEADHEADS, NEW BUDDY/ZOMBIE/ROAD TRIP/ADVENTURE/COMEDY MOVIE NEEDS YOUR HELP!by Brett Pierce
My name is Brett Pierce and I'm the co-director/cowriter of DEADHEADS, a buddy/zombie/comedy of ridiculousness. We've had an amazing run at fests in the last couple months. We've been playing to sold out screenings at the Austin Film Fest, Sitges, Fright Fest, ScreamFest, and Toronto After Dark and it's been a blast. The cast and crew have had the time of their lives. I was even given the honor of commencing the Toronto Zombie Walk by throwing out the ceremonial severed head!! Dream come true right there. That being said, we're an indie film. We made the flick with little finances and all heart. We have no stars or known celebrities in the film but people love the flick. The Hollywood system only believes that you are only interested in films with "star power" so true indie films have very little chance of being released even when audiences really respond to them.
