Destinations/Safe Havens/Escape Plan

by Austin
(Hinesville, GA)

If, like me, you don't have the money/time/supplies to create a safehouse. Here's a plan you could follow. The firs thing you want to do is gather up as much food, water, guns(if you own any) and ammunition as possible, along with any blunt objects that would make good weapons, or any knives/swords/machetes/axes you may have. Load them up into a vehicle that can handle the load. My choice of destination would be any remote, mountainous area, that is easily accessible to you. Reasons being: 1. Defensible, zombies aren't as agile as humans, even if they are the fast kind. They're still going to be very clumsy, so climbing up hills and mountains is not going to be easy for them. 2. Mountainous areas are usually surrounded by forests which means plenty of wild animals(this would be your food source, can support a small population almost indefinitely) 3. There's usually plenty of fresh water sources(i.e. rivers, ponds, inlets, etc). On your way to your destination, pick up any survivors you can, or any of your friends that've survived that you can easily get to. Remember the old addage, there's strength in numbers.

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT, go to malls for saftey. That crap never works in the movies, it's not gonna work in real life.
