Devil's Crossing -A Zombie Western

Shadrach with a zombie

Shadrach with a zombie

I just wanted to let everyone know about a new Zombie Western movie that is wrapping up shooting right now. Devil's Crossing is a one of a kind zombie movie. It incorporates a Post-apocalyptic/Western theme into the awesomeness of a zombie movie.
The world has been destroyed and ravaged by nuclear war and yet the remaining human life is fighting for survival. Shadrach a man, who has sold his soul to the devil, must kill to keep his life. He goes from town to town destroying people for the devil that need to be taken directly to Hell. One night he decides to change that and quit his work. The devil summons a massive group of zombies. The zombies ravage the town killing townspeople in route to an epic showdown with Shadrach.
The director, Ryan Gary, delivers his intensity and passion for zombies through this one of a kind zombie masterpiece. Working alongside producer Paul Streiner, the two have collaborated to put together something truly amazing. Streiner directed “Zombie Kings” which won best short at Indie Fest USA 2009 and has worked on various other film projects. The cast for Devil’s Crossing features some incredible talent, primarily from the state of North Carolina. The two main characters, Louise and Shadrach are played by fabulous actors. Louise is played by Patrick Keenan who is featured in movies such as “The Blindside” and “The Patriot”. Shadrach is played by Michael Sharpe who is an up and coming actor with incredible talent.
The filming of Devil’s Crossing took place in Love Valley, NC. Located just north of Statesville, Love Valley is a cowboy town that truly has a western style. Independently funded and filmed entirely in North Carolina, Devil’s crossing hopes to make a statement about the North Carolina Film community and the talent it possesses.
