First Aid, the Most Essential Aid
Medications, such as asprin, ibuprofen, pepto bismol, ect., are largely optional. However, keep in mind that it is signifigantly more difficult to avoid a zombie if your head is hurting or your body weak. Keeping painkillers with you can help you fight longer and harder while sustaining small scrapes and bruises. It is also essential to keep some sort of gauze and disinfectant in order to prevent infections such as tetanus and staphylococcous, which can kill you just as surely as any zombie if not kept under control. There are several ways to be sustain injuries during a gettaway or fight, such as sprained joints, broken bones, and pulled muscles. It is essential that these be taken care of as soon as possible; be sure to keep at least a few splints, thermal or lidocain patches, bandages, and bags of plaster of paris in order to prevent these injuries from becoming more harmful than they already are. A few more suggestions would be pure adrenalin shots, a pocket defibulator, spit guard, rubber or latex gloves, hydrogen peroxide, insulin shots for diabetics, and, if all else fails, a turnicut and bone saw with some anesthetics for when amputation is the only option (please exercise caution: only allow an experienced surgeon or medic to perform this action in order to prevent making the situation worse).
