Make long and short term plans

For a well planned out apocalypse you need not only short term goals but long term as well. You as one of the few left to fight and survive need to get past the dead family and friends around you find a place in your town that is secure but livable your not going to want to stay cooped up in a small metal box the rest of your life are you. The surviver should find i locked in but outdoor shelter such as a storage facility. The one located in my home town has 15ft concrete walls. tall enough and smooth enough the no undead will be able to scale. The only way into the compound is a 10ft tall by 20ft long steel gate that can be easily reinforced with some barbed wire. After finding a place to live you should look at what weapons you have available. You getting this far means you have had something to help you fight against the mass of undead. The way i see it you need to have something for every situation close range, long range, and back up. The best weapon i see for most situations is and M4 well sights and tac lights on it. It has range yet can be moved around easily. short barrel shotguns are great for when you are moving through buildings looking for supply's but what happens when you run empty? Have back ups make sure to have some kind of pistol and a melee weapon in my opinion the best melee weapon is a machete its long tough and its a blade you can always count on it and it wont empty when you need it. when you are looking for supply's dont be stingy get what you can get and get out bottled water should be at the top of the list bottled anything should be. get dried foods first the may not taste as good but they will go fast by the hands of other looters. Top Ramen noodles not only are they a cheap but they dont go bad and all you need is water for a filling meal. if you want to discuses this more please feel free to add my email
