SMG's Usage

by Josiah Cowling
(Upper Peninsula)

During a zombie invasion your going to have to secure buildings
Most buildings are cramped, ripe for Close Quarters problems
militaries all around the world have realized that SMG's are great for CQB
but during a zombie invasion bullet manufaturers are going to be shutdown this is where the SMG can be problematic
see conserving ammo does not register to people who are not used to useing firearms
its not a hollywood movie amoo is exhaustable and SMG's are known for a high rate of fire, the armed forces have noticed that rookies with a smg that get surprised like to either freak out and waste a whole clip or use to many rounds on the target or source of the surprise
During a zombie invasion try to remember there are fire rate options on most SMG's
Single, 3 or 2 round burst, and Fully Automatic
Use Your Head, Single shot for when you are in an open are, Burst for groups, reasoning for single in open ares is that a smg is more accurate which means higher probablity of killing at a range, in a corridor especialy a cramped one you need to get out of the death funnel single shot works here also(military term)
Death Funnels work both ways remember the zombies will be cramped also
Burst is for when facing a group of zombies, you have to think on your feet against groups, burst allows you to put a few more rounds down range although you subsitute more rounds for less accuracy
Fully Automatic to me seems more like a last resort
