The Author
Kiara Loganathan was born on 30 June 2000, in Durban, South Africa. She is a grade 06 pupil at Athlone Park Primary in Amanzimtoti. She is a keen collector of figurines of dragons, unicorns, fairies and crystals. Kiara Loganathan proves that age does not hinder one’s dreams to publish a book as she shares her debut work, The Goblin King and the Rare Dragonfly. Young readers are sure to enjoy her first efforts as her inspiration to write comes from her love for the magical world. She wrote this book so that she can share her story with other youngsters and hope that it will inspire them to be creative.
