the best weapons, you might think, would be a gun. well, what if its one straggler and you shoot it. all other zombies within earshot will hear this and come running. this is why a cross bow or a bow and arrow is an essential. they are quiet, and they have reusable ammunition. im not saying you don't need something with a little more firepower, but a gun is loud and there are situations where you need to be as quiet as possible. consider purchasing a silencer for a hand gun, as well as a rifle, a shotgun or two, and plenty of ammo. Also, learn that EVERYTHING is a weapon! trapped in a house? chair legs can function as a bat, table lamps as well. everything can be used as a weapon in a pinch! use your imagination.
