It’s now 6 months after the onset of the zombie apocalypse. Long ago the water treatment plants stopped pumping and purifying the water we had been getting from our faucets. The last bottle of spring water was finished off months ago. All that’s left are the local ponds, lakes, and rivers; most of which are contaminated with the rotting bodies of the dead and undead.
