Zombie Survival: a short article

by sean linne
(milwaukee, wisconsin)

The viral infection will begin it's 1st stages of destruction on the human body within ten to thirty minutes after the initial bite, or transfer of virus. Beginning with the throat lining drying and swelling incredibly fast, therefore closing the airway and causing blood to be spat from the mouth from choking, caused by the swelling and from the blood running down the asophages. At about a minute in the body will begin to spasm, as if it is seizing, this is the virus destroying brain function and preparing desceast for reanimation.

At about that time I would be heading for my emsur kit (emergency survival kit), which I will discuss later, or grabbing what ever the hell you can to remove the head or destroy the brain. Because what I explained in the earlier paragraph WILL happen to you if you do not do so, and quickly I suggest. Avoid contact with saliva, blood, and other bodily fluids, the virus is transferable in these excrements of the infected.

Now to the emsur kit I mentioned earlier, very vital to zombie apocalypse survival. It should be in a easily and quickly accessible place, and it doesn't hurt to have multiple in multiple places. It should consist of a semi automatic pistol or two, semi to conserve on ammunition. Which brings me to my next item, ammunition and lots of it. Some rope and survival knives, matches/lighter, extra socks, non-parishable items i.e. cliff bars or other food with high protien and vitamins in them, flashlight, wouldn't hurt to have a few grenades or some explosives either. Really you can have what ever you prefer but those are just some suggested items that would come in handy.

Travel only during day light, if on foot, unless absolutely nessasary. I would advise to stay away from well populated areas and to obtain a vehicle for safer travel. Head north, if you are in the United States, to Canada, to stay out of populated cities. Hopefully the vehicle you obtained is a truck, because you are going to want to collect supplies on your journey to the wilderness of Canada. Supplies such as food, if you think you have plenty chances are you don't, hunting supplies to be able to live off of the land. Weapons and munition are a must, the wider the variety the better.

A companion such as a buddy or a dog, preferably both it's better in groups, is a must. Dogs are nice amenities to have not only because the are loyal, but the also see and hear things you may miss or even before you are capable of doing so. Never hesitate either, no matter who the infected may be. If one of your survival group member become infected, once again do not hesitate no matter who this may be, dispose of immediately.

This is all of the advice I have for this article if you have any advice to offer I welcome it and if you would like to hear more advice and knowlage I have to offer just say so.
